During my residency in Cajarc (France, 2023), I developed a research project exploring the intersection between death, landscape, and Christian symbolism in the rural environment of southern France. The work emerged from daily walks through the surrounding fields and villages, where traces of seasonal decay and religious presence—crosses, churches, and agricultural cycles—became central visual and conceptual references.
